I recently qualified as a Specialist with the ‘The Heritage in Schools Scheme’ Encourage greater awareness in your school of Ireland’s rich built, natural and cultural heritage with an engaging and stimulating visit from one of our Heritage in Schools experts.
It is wonderful to share my artistic processes and knowledge with the selected schools throughout Dublin and Wicklow areas and I am delighted to be working with Macdaras National School, Tallaght, Kilcoole National School, Glencullen Primary School Wicklow, Gaelscoil Laighean, Dublin St Brigids National School National School in Dublin and St. Anne’s Primary School in Shankill.
It is my great pleasure to be working on this wonderful initiative with The Blackrock Education Board, the teachers and pupils of the schools.
KWETB
2025 Panelist Art tutor and Community Educator at Kildare and Wicklow ETB Socially engaged community artist with KWETB, community Education.
With KWETB I work as a community educator with adults of all ages and abilities.
This mixed bag of teaching experience has afforded me a broad understanding and insight into the benefits of arts practices in the community with participants of all ages.
My practice is centred around craft. I have qualifications in VIsual Art and Design, alongside adult and community education.
My Aim is to explore a range of creative based craft processes with community groups of all ages, through various projects, allowing them a better understanding of a particular craft,and to encourage and nurture the process and to produce work which the group can be proud of making.
I teach craft courses in candle making, willow weaving, painting and drawing. I have experience in projects using mixed media, and ceramics.
